BOSS launches two Responsible Capsule Collections

March 2019 - The Spring/Summer 2019 season sees BOSS introducing two new Responsible Capsule collections. The menswear styles were created with a focus on caring for the environment using innovative techniques and production methods. Now these pieces are available in selected BOSS stores worldwide and online in Europe.

Part of the Responsible Styles use less water in their production. Highlights include denim from the Candiani mill in Italy, which applies innovative washing and dyeing processes to save water and reduce the use of chemicals. The jersey designs consist of recot² yarn, a blend of organic and recycled cotton, spun in Germany. According to the manufacturer, up to 5,000 litres of water were saved per kilogram of recot² textiles used compared to conventional cotton. The shirt style in the capsule collection is made of cotton bleached in an eco-friendly way.

The second Responsible Capsule features pieces made of S.Café® fabric that combine innovative technology with high performance. S.Café® is a yarn partially made from recycled coffee grounds, which are spun using a patented process. The result is a special fabric that dries quickly, absorbs odour ensuring your clothing will stay fresh for longer and reflects UV rays.
