HUGO BOSS lehnt alle Formen von Zwangsarbeit, alle Ausprägungen moderner Sklaverei und den modernen Menschenhandel ab. HUGO BOSS überprüft regelmäßig seine direkten Lieferanten und Partner, um sicherzustellen, dass diese im Einklang mit unserem Verhaltenskodex, unseren Sozialstandards und dem United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015 handeln. Mit der nachfolgenden Erklärung setzt HUGO BOSS ein deutliches Zeichen gegen alle Formen von Zwangsarbeit und moderner Sklaverei und kommt damit seiner Selbstverpflichtung als verantwortungsvolles und verlässliches Unternehmen nach.

Norwegian Transparency Act

As a conscientious and responsible global company, the HUGO BOSS Group carries out extensive due diligence measures to protect human rights in its own business area and in the supply chain.

HUGO BOSS respects all human rights and actively promotes compliance with them. This account also includes working conditions-related risks with an impact on humans, which have been grouped together under the term "human rights".

To comply with the Transparency Act, the HUGO BOSS Group makes this account pursuant to Section 5 of the Transparency Act and shows the steps HUGO BOSS is taking to ensure due diligence procedures within our business and in our supply chain.

The HUGO BOSS Group with all its subsidiaries aims to comply with all respective due diligence acts worldwide including the Norwegian Transparency Act. Therefore the HUGO BOSS Group has set up a central governance system to structure and ensure compliance with all relevant due diligence acts.

Nevertheless this account on the Norwegian Transparency Act applies for the subsidiary HUGO BOSS Scan. Norway. It is valid for the past financial year ending at December 31, 2022.

California Supply Chain Disclosure

Verification of product supply chain: 
Prior to the start of a business relationship every direct supplier is required to sign and acknowledge the HUGO BOSS Social Standards which include provisions on the prohibition of trafficking and slavery.

Compliance audits: 
On a regular basis our direct suppliers are required to undergo compliance audits which include checks for compliance with the prohibition of trafficking and slavery. Audits are conducted by internal or external partners and scheduled together with the suppliers.

Certification of supply chain security: 
The HUGO BOSS General Terms and Conditions obligate suppliers to comply with the HUGO BOSS Social Standards and ensure compliance through their supply chain.

Internal accountability: 
If suppliers violate our HUGO BOSS Social Standards we issue an action plan, requesting them to improve compliance with our standards. The supplier’s performance will be reviewed in a follow up audit. If a supplier fails to make progress against the plan, he may be subject to sanctions up to and including termination of the business relationship.

Internal trainings: 
All our employees undergo annual Social Standards trainings. Our internal and external audit staff consists of experienced and well trained auditors.
